About Us:

• Originally Founded in 1983 in Mississippi By Jim Hemphill Sr. Mr. Hemphill was a pioneer in the plastic industry.
•  First optical related product was the flatpack(bi-lens mailer)
• In 1986, Jim Hemphill Jr. founded Brandon Technology which performed assembly and printing work for Pelican Products.
• In 1989, Brandon Technology purchased their first molding machine to supplement the output of Pelican Products
• In 1997, Jim Hemphill Jr. and wife Mary acquired Pelican Products. At this time, Pelican Products and Brandon Technology were merged together under the name Pelican Products Inc.
• In late 2007, the assets of Pelican Products Inc. were acquired by Pelican Products LLC in South Carolina.  All operations of the company were moved to South Carolina
• From its inception until today……Pelican Products remains a family owned and operated business that is committed to quality products and exceptional customer service. While no longer involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, the Hemphill family continues to assist the current management team in a consulting capacity.
